Equestrian gloves to help arthritic hands We understand how painful arthritis can be when you want and need to use your hands for activities you love. Because Bionic was developed in conjunction with an orthopedic hand surgeon, these gloves provide extra support and mild compression to help reduce pain and discomfort from swollen and sore joints.

A THIRD PARTY INDEPENDENT STUDY PROVES:

GRIP STRENGTH IMPROVED. On average, users were able to exert 16% greater force while wearing the gloves than with their bare hand.
PINCH FORCE IMPROVED. On average, users were able to exert 25% greater tip pinch force, 12% greater key pinch force, and 47% greater Palmer pinch force while wearing the gloves than with their bare hands.
TORQUE FORCE IMPROVED. On average, users were able to exert 47% greater torque on a metal knob, 38% greater torque on a plastic knurled knob, and 28% greater torque on the palm grip while wearing the gloves than with their bare hands.

These findings led researchers to conclude in their report that “the product is beneficial to users with arthritis in their hands. Objectives tests demonstrated that users could apply significantly more force with less reported discomfort while wearing the gloves as opposed to similar actions performed bare handed.”
